On the first day we pick you up at 6:30 AM and drive to Tlacolula for breakfast, after breakfast we drive for about 1 hour to the trailhead. We begin our 11 KM hike into the amazing xerophilic forest full of cactus and agave. We will hike for about 2 hours to the grotto of Las Salinas where we will spend some time swimming under the amazing secret waterfall, we will have snacks and fresh fruit and continue our hike up to Hierve el Agua which we normally do in 2 hours. Once we get into town we have a traditional Oaxacan lunch and then hike to the bottom of the petrified falls. After that we drive to Llano Grande (in the Northern Sierra) and sleep there.
On the second day we do a 12 KM hike in the forest, from Llano Grande to Cuajimoloyas and at the end of the day we return to the city.
